DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

ALVI Tech. Services Private Limited is committed to achieve a safe and healthy working Environment within all areas of our operations. We see this as a shared responsibility and healthy aim that can only be achieved through the full co-operation, commitment and involvement of the company’s employees.
- The abuse of alcohol or other drugs has the potential to adversely affect individual performance and health and is potential hazard not only to individual but to others as well which further lowers safety conscious and greatly affects productivity of employees.
- It is the company policy that consumption or possession of alcohol is not permitted during working hours. Any employees who are intoxicated will be deemed unfit for work and will not be allowed to start and continue work. Employees found in the possession of alcohol, will be subjected to disciplinary action, Up to and including termination of their services without any notice under disciplinary case.
- The use or possession of narcotics products (or any other drug not otherwise prescribed by qualified medical practitioner) at the workplace is strictly prohibited. Persons found in possession of or under the influence of these substances will be removed immediately from site and will be subjected to disciplinary action as deemed fit by management including civil arrest under the law of land.
- Drug screening may be carried out during pre-employment medicals or at random. The detection of illegal substances during this screening will be considered as a valid reason for withholding any offer of employment, due to the inherent risks which drug use can pose to health and safety within our operations. Screening of persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol at work may be carried out at any time which is sole discretion of the safety department or management.
